The BLS also lists the injuries most often associated with fatal work accidents. From most frequent to least frequent, circumstances which can lead to worker deaths are:

Losing a loved one to any accident is a tragic ordeal which no one should experience. To make matters worse, losing a family member can mean unforeseen financial strife when it comes to paying medical bills and making ends meet. In the wake of tragedy you should be able to mourn your loss without worrying over money. If you have experienced the loss of a loved one due to the negligence of someone else, you should investigate your rights to file a wrongful death action.
To file a wrongful death action in Pennsylvania the beneficiary, such as a surviving spouse, child, parent, guardian or personal representative, must show:
Death was caused by the defendant’s conduct(even unintentional).
The Defendant owed a level of care to the decedent which caused the death.
Presence of surviving beneficiaries such as spouse, children, parents, etc.
Monetary damages have resulted from the death; (typically, though not exclusively, loss of future earnings)
If you have suffered such a a loss, you should speak with an attorney. Filing a lawsuit might be the last thing you want to consider at this time, but you could be entitled to damages which will help relieve some of the financial stresses from such a loss.
